This view was taken from the snowy winter of 2000.

The Neuse River in New Bern is a resource for fishermen, duck hunters, recreational boaters...and developers.  Morning views of the sunrise over the Neuse are spectacular memories etched into my mind...but something so rare as a blizzard over this great expanse of water...causing the world to stop, if only for a few hours...is a scene worthy of exploration.
